How it works

Two hours. Sometimes three.
Enough time to get married, wander through the city, and make photographs that feel considered without turning the day into a photoshoot.

I’ll give you direction when it makes the photograph better — where to stand, where to walk, what to do with your hands — then leave enough room for the moments in between to happen on their own.
Some photographs will feel polished and editorial. Others will be imperfect, spontaneous and completely unplanned.

Digital gives us the clarity. Film brings a little unpredictability, texture and nostalgia.
Together, it feels like Melbourne.
Elegant without being formal.
Editorial without feeling staged.
